Remove WordPress version number is a plugin to easily hide your WordPress version information from everyone. This plugin has some unique features like:

  • It will hide meta generator from the source code.
  • It will hide information from the feeds.
  • It will remove query parameters from CSS and JS
  • **The best thing about this plugin is that it will only remove qeury parameters from CSS and JS URLs which only have version information, i-e, ver=4.8 **
  • To check, whether the version info is hidden or not, see the screenshots down below.
