Pick one image for the left side and one for the right, give each its own link, and visitors who click the side of the page go to the advertiser.<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li>Separate image and link for the left and right side, or use only one side.<\/li>\n<li>Choose images from the Media Library or paste any image URL.<\/li>\n<li>Set how far from the centre of the screen the images start, so they sit right next to your content.<\/li>\n<li>Optional sticky mode keeps the images in place while the page scrolls.<\/li>\n<li>Optional vertical repeat for tall pages.<\/li>\n<li>Show on every page or on the front page only.<\/li>\n<li>Hidden automatically on small screens (you choose the width).<\/li>\n<li>Links get <code>rel=\"sponsored\"<\/code>, as search engines ask for paid links.<\/li>\n<li>No external requests, no tracking, no extra CSS or JavaScript files on the front end.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Settings are under <strong>Appearance \u2192 Clickable Background<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p>Developers can hide the images on specific pages with the <code>iwsm_cbi_display<\/code> filter:<\/p>\n\n<pre><code>add_filter( 'iwsm_cbi_display', function ( $display ) { return is_page( 'contact' ) ? false : $display; } );\n<\/code><\/pre>\n\n<!--section=installation-->\n<ol>\n<li>Install the plugin from <strong>Plugins \u2192 Add New<\/strong>, or upload the <code>iwsm-customize-background-images<\/code> folder to <code>\/wp-content\/plugins\/<\/code>.<\/li>\n<li>Activate it from the <strong>Plugins<\/strong> screen.<\/li>\n<li>Go to <strong>Appearance \u2192 Clickable Background<\/strong>, choose your images and links, and save.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<!--section=faq-->\n<dl>\n<dt id=\"the%20images%20cover%20part%20of%20my%20content%2C%20or%20there%20is%20a%20gap%20between%20them%20and%20the%20content\"><h3>The images cover part of my content, or there is a gap between them and the content<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Change <strong>Distance from centre<\/strong>. It should be half the width of your content area. For a theme with a 1200px wide content area use 600.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"i%20can%27t%20see%20the%20images\"><h3>I can't see the images<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>Your theme probably paints a background over them. Raise the <strong>z-index<\/strong> setting (for example to 1). Also check that your screen is wider than the <strong>Hide below screen width<\/strong> setting.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"what%20image%20size%20should%20i%20use%3F\"><h3>What image size should I use?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>A common site-skin size is 300 to 400 pixels wide and 1000 to 1500 pixels tall for each side. The left image is aligned to its right edge and the right image to its left edge, so the part nearest the content is always visible.<\/p><\/dd>\n<dt id=\"does%20it%20work%20with%20full-width%20themes%3F\"><h3>Does it work with full-width themes?<\/h3><\/dt>\n<dd><p>The images only appear in the space outside your content area.
