Integration for Airtable – Send Forms to Airtable & Import Posts, Users, Taxonomies

الوصف

Copying form entries into Airtable by hand? Rebuilding WordPress content every time your Airtable base changes? Integration for Airtable ends both chores with one plugin. Every submission from WPForms, Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, or Elementor Forms becomes a new Airtable record the moment it’s submitted — and Airtable records flow back into WordPress as posts, pages, users, categories, and tags, automatically kept in sync on the schedule you choose.

Connect with Airtable OAuth or a personal access token, map your fields once, and let both workflows — forms out, content in — run themselves from the WordPress dashboard. Everything runs on a direct connection to the official Airtable REST API, so your data moves straight between WordPress and Airtable with nothing else in between.

Send WordPress Form Submissions to Airtable

Turn any supported form into an Airtable data-entry tool. Every submission creates a new Airtable record automatically, with no manual copy-paste and no missed leads.

  • WPForms to Airtable — works with both WPForms Lite and WPForms Pro
  • Gravity Forms to Airtable — map Gravity Forms fields directly to Airtable columns
  • Contact Form 7 to Airtable (CF7) — create an Airtable record after every CF7 submission
  • Ninja Forms to Airtable — send Ninja Forms entries to a chosen base and table
  • Fluent Forms to Airtable — sync Fluent Forms submissions using your field mapping
  • Formidable Forms to Airtable — push Formidable entries straight to Airtable
  • Elementor Forms to Airtable — supports the Elementor Pro Form widget
  • Immediate or background delivery — send instantly, or queue with WP-Cron so a slow Airtable response never delays your visitor
  • Automatic type formatting — dates, numbers, checkboxes, and single-select values land in the correct Airtable column type without extra setup

Perfect for lead capture, client intake, job applications, event registrations, surveys, support requests, quote requests, and any WordPress-to-Airtable CRM or database pipeline.

Import Posts, Pages, Users & Taxonomies from Airtable to WordPress

Use Airtable as a lightweight CMS or external editorial database, then pull records straight into WordPress:

  • Import posts and pages from Airtable — titles, content, excerpts, slugs, dates, status, and parent pages (author and featured image with Pro)
  • Import WordPress users from Airtable — email, login, display names, and non-administrator roles
  • Import categories and tags from Airtable — names, slugs, descriptions, and parent terms
  • Custom post types and custom taxonomies — Pro
  • Adavanced Custom fields (ACF) and post meta — Pro
  • Featured images, attachments, and user avatars — Pro
  • Airtable views and filterByFormula support — scope exactly which records get imported
  • Manual or scheduled imports — Free includes daily and weekly schedules; Pro adds frequencies from every 15 minutes to twice daily
  • Safe re-imports — an Airtable record WordPress object ID map means later syncs update the same item instead of creating duplicates, with optional matching by slug, email, or username

Great for blog publishing from Airtable, landing pages, team directories, business directories, job boards, editorial calendars, and scheduled content updates — with linked-record resolution for authors, parent terms, and taxonomy assignments.

Why Skip Zapier, Make, or Custom Code?

Every other Airtable-to-WordPress workflow usually means a Zapier task, a Make (Integromat) scenario, or a developer writing REST API calls by hand — plus a monthly automation bill. This plugin removes the middleman entirely: form data and Airtable records move directly between WordPress and Airtable using Airtable’s own API, authenticated with OAuth or a personal access token that’s encrypted at rest.

Perfect For

Bloggers, agencies managing client sites, marketers, HR and recruiting teams collecting applications, event organizers, membership sites, directories, job boards, news publishers, and anyone who wants a form-to-Airtable sync or an Airtable WordPress importer without hiring a developer or paying for third-party automation tools.

الأسئلة المتكررّة

Can I send WordPress form submissions to Airtable?

Yes. Mapped form fields are sent to your selected Airtable base and table whenever a supported form is submitted. Each successful submission creates a new Airtable record.

Which WordPress form plugins work with Airtable?

WPForms (Lite and Pro), Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, Fluent Forms, Formidable Forms, and Elementor Pro Forms.

Can I import Airtable records into WordPress?

Yes. The importer can create or update posts, pages, users, categories, and tags. Pro adds custom post types, custom taxonomies, metadata, and attachments.

Will an Airtable import update existing WordPress content, or create duplicates?

It updates existing content. The plugin stores the relationship between each Airtable record and its WordPress object, so later runs update the same item instead of duplicating it. Optional matching by slug, email, or username can also link records to content that already exists.

Can I schedule Airtable-to-WordPress imports?

Yes. Free supports daily and weekly schedules. Pro adds every 15 minutes, every 30 minutes, hourly, every 6 hours, and twice daily. WordPress WP-Cron must be able to run for scheduled imports to fire on time.

Can I choose an Airtable view or use a filter formula?

Yes. Select an Airtable view or supply a filterByFormula expression to limit which records get imported.

Does the plugin support Airtable linked records?

Yes. Import mapping resolves linked records for supported relationships, including authors, parent terms, and assigned taxonomy terms.

Can I send different forms to different Airtable bases?

Yes, with Pro. The free plan supports one active form connection. Pro allows unlimited connections, so each form can sync to its own base and table.

How can I check whether a sync succeeded?

Open Forms to Airtable Sync History. Every form submission and import run is logged there, including success, warning, and error details.

Do I need a paid Airtable account?

No. The integration works with Airtable’s free plan, subject to Airtable’s own record and API limits.

We use both Gravity Forms and WPForms on our site for different purposes, and our forms are pretty complicated with file attachments and everything. We needed a way to get all those submissions from WordPress into Airtable automatically. This integration for Airtable handled it really well, It worked with both form plugins without any extra setup, been using it for a few weeks now and have not had a single missed submission. Would recommend if you need something reliable for Gravity Forms or WPForms to Airtable.
