This overrides the server’s default fallback address, which is useful when sending mail from a domain that differs from the server’s own domain. This could be needed for dedicated hosting services from companies such as Rootnet and Hostnet. **Security** Under the **Security** tab you can activate the following utilities: * Disable WordPress XMLRPC. This disables the XMLRPC endpoint, which is often used for brute-force attacks and is not needed for most WordPress sites. * Hide public available WordPress usernames. This prevents the author archive pages from being publicly accessible, which can help reduce spam and brute-force attacks. **Missing a notification?** Can’t find the notification you want to disable?
